Yes and no. a valid email address is required in order to become a member of this site, as you will not be able to obtain your password without one. This means that should any member of the site be found guilty of harassing other members, we will have a lead in finding the person who is causing the problems; and with the help of that member’s ISP, we can hopefully trace that person. Needless to say, such people will be permanently banned from membership on this site. However, our service is otherwise confidential. There is no way that we can do extensive background checks on members, and we expect you to understand that we cannot take responsibility for any pain, damage or suffering arising from your use of this site. ImatchYou works on a membership[ system so that we are able to keep data files that contain your profile information and other information such as your “Hotlist”, etc. Guests may enter the site and browse the listings, but in order to post a listing and use the many features available on the site, you must become a member.

Upload a Photo

To upload a photo directly from your computer, simply go to the My Photo, select “Upload Photo”, and follow the instructions. Please Note:

• We accept "JPG, JPEG, GIF"
• Your photo file must be under 200K
• Once approved, uploaded photos will be posted exactly as they are submitted. Sure to crop your photo if necessary before uploading it. Due to the volume of photos we receive, it may take 24-72 hours for your photo to appear on your profile.

When you create a profile, you can post up to three photos of yourself. You can use images directly from your computer or mail them to us. You can mail us a photograph, we’ll scan it for free. Visit “My Photo” for more information.

• Choose a solo shot for your primary photo, and save second and third positions group or pet photos
• Please note that you must appear in each of the photos – we will not post photos children or pets only.
• Photos of cartoon characters or celebrities are copyrighted and cannot be posted
• Try black and white images. They’re often smaller in file size, and more flattering
• Nudity, obscenity, sexual or otherwise offensive photos will not be posted

Posting additional photos is quick and easy! Simply go to the “My Photos” section, “Browse” to find your photo and click “upload” to load it.

Normal posting time for photos is 24-72 hours. Our team must approve each photo maintain the quality of matches available through ImatchYou.com.
